Road verge management pilot project

In Summer 2018 we commenced a small pilot project to allow wild flowers and grasses to grow on two highway verges in the Malvern Hills National Landscape. The intention was to assess the extent to which a number of interventions might benefit biodiversity over a period of time. The pilot is ongoing with just an annual cut and collect operation being the only management currently taking place.
